Fun Events
Due to, being weird and unique, I’m that one individual who drags all my friends and family to the weirdest most different events. There has been some great fun outings. Sip n Paints, where we drink wine and express our inner artist on canvas.
Another, Trapped in the Room with a Zombie, where we were locked in a room with a blood hungry zombie chasing us while we attempt to solve a case and uncover the code to escape.
Also, Quiet clubbing, where the party is jumping but the music playing is heard only by the partygoers. Whether on the docks with an amazing view of the NYC skyline or in a Queens beer garden it’s entertaining AF. We got headphones while jamming the night away with 3 DJ’s spinning. No these are not typical gatherings but I love trying fun, new and unique things.
Furthermore, I recently came across an event called Blacklight Slide NY. Patrons descend 40 ft waterslides mixed with black light paint.
Myself and 6 others grab our inner tubes and race to the nearest line for the first plunge.
Most notably, the lines are long and the sun relentless but after the first dip the wait became more bearable. After the sunset, the party begins!
The Dj plays techno party music and we dance and splash each other with paint while glowing in the dark.
In conclusion, It’s super messy but hella fun! I am definitely going back next year! Check out blacklightslides.com for future events.
